Sri Lanka to Host 2025 SAFF U-17 Championship in Colombo

Colombo, September 15, 2025 – Sri Lanka will host the 2025 SAFF U-17 Championship from September 15 to 27 at venues in Colombo, welcoming seven teams from across South Asia, including defending champions India.

The tournament is expected to provide an important platform for emerging young football talent in the region while enhancing Sri Lanka’s profile in international youth football.
